Our Story:

Direct Foundation was born out of a vision to raise a generation of students in Nigeria who will pursue academic excellence while honoring God.

Our founder, Emmanuel Chibuzor Precious, believes that science, when guided by the Word of God, becomes a tool not only for discovery but for transformation. Inspired by Proverbs 9:10, we believe that every true scholar must first be a seeker of divine wisdom.

Our Mission:

To promote science, leadership, and health awareness among young Nigerians through competitions, outreach, and mentorship — all grounded in the fear of the Lord and love for humanity.

Our Team

Chibuzor Emmanuel

Co-Founder & President

Chibuzor is a Christ-centered scientist and educational advocate with a strong foundation in microbiology, Immunology, and biomedical science. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Chester, United Kingdom. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Manitoba, Canada.

Driven by a divine calling to merge scientific advancement with godly values, he founded Direct Foundation, an initiative committed to promoting education, inspiring youth, and delivering public health awareness, especially in underserved communities. His leadership reflects a deep belief that education is a tool for national transformation when rooted in the fear of God.

With every project, Chibuzor emphasizes that true wisdom begins with reverence for God, anchoring the mission of Direct Foundation in purpose, faith, and service.

Umeh Michael Ndubuisi

Director of Programs | Co-Founder

Michael is a passionate academic, researcher, and mentor committed to shaping youth through science and godly values.

He holds a First Class degree in Microbiology from MOUAU and a Master’s in Food Microbiology.

Currently a Lecturer at MOUAU, his research spans probiotics, cardiovascular health, and water sanitation.

He actively promotes WASH education and health awareness in secondary schools across Abia State.

Michael has served in YCS, CYON, and the Legion of Mary, fostering spiritual leadership in youth.

At Direct Foundation, he leads academic strategy with a passion for excellence and integrity.

He believes science is a divine tool for service, impact, and national transformation.

Favour Chibuzor Emmanuel

Director of Volunteers & Human Resources|Co-Founder

Favour is a servant-hearted leader with a passion for youth discipleship, team building, and purposeful service. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from the University of Port Harcourt, where she also served as a Hall Pastor, mentoring young women in godly living and leadership.

She previously served as a Teen’s Coordinator at Assemblies of God Church, where she helped nurture teenagers in the Word of God, Christian values, and purposeful living.

At Direct Foundation, she leads the recruitment, training, and spiritual development of volunteers and team members. Her leadership is marked by compassion, order, and a deep commitment to service through Christ.
